OUR MISSION

Embracing and developing the cultural and linguistic strengths of the English Language Learner (ELL), the Salem-Keizer School District will provide research based instructional programs in order to best serve our ELL students. These programs will ensure that all students are provided equal access to high levels of academic content and cross-cultural competence, in order to participate as productive citizens in a multilingual and multicultural world.

English as a Second Language (ESL) /Sheltered Instruction (SI) Program

Early Exit Transitional Program

(Available For Spanish-Speaking Elementary Students)

Two-Way Immersion (Dual Language) Program


(Available at Grant , Harritt, and Walker schools)
